Questex Travel Group’s 12th annual Incentive Travel Exchange (ITE) event, taking place April 23-26, 2017 at The Delano Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay, will once again offer attending buyers a dynamic education session on arrival day.

Questex, in partnership with the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE), will offer, Storytelling: a sales pro’s most powerful sales tool, led by Catherine Jones, principal, The Edventives Group.

Jones is a seasoned incentive travel professional with over 20 years’ experience and holds designations as a certified meeting professional as well as a certified incentive travel executive. In 2003, Catherine founded The Edventives Group to provide customized, turnkey meetings, incentives and travel programs for clients requiring highly customized solutions. She holds both a master of arts in history as well as a master of business administration from Southern Methodist University.

In this course, participants will learn to craft and use compelling stories to sell incentive travel solutions to clients including developing an audience profile to help tailor the story appropriately, and positioning it correctly for sales presentations and other considerations.

«This is an excellent opportunity for attendees to leverage storytelling as a way to sell incentives», said John McMahon, executive vice president of the Questex Travel Group. «By participating in this session, as well as the other opportunities ITE has in store for them including a motivating keynote speaker, 25 one-to-one private appointments with international suppliers, and exceptional networking activities, buyers will walk away from this event more well-rounded, with new relationships, and a much stronger book of business».

Suppliers will include cruise lines, tour operators, destination management companies and sought-after incentive destinations across the globe, including hotels, resorts and spas.

ITE provides suppliers the opportunity to meet one-on-one with fully vetted, high-performing meeting and incentive travel buyers with preset meetings in the privacy of a luxury suite. Buyers represent key incentive purchasing sectors including corporate incentive buyers and incentive companies, both full-service and travel.

The hosted buyer program gives premium meeting and incentive travel buyers the opportunity to maximize their time during focused meetings with leading incentive travel suppliers and networking with industry colleagues.
